ICA R&D runs training courses for food industry and laboratory staff. The training draws on the practical experience of our specialists and on the day-to-day work of a testing laboratory.
What we offer
Typical topics include food safety and HACCP principles, hygiene in food businesses, good laboratory practice, correct sampling and how to read test reports, and food labelling and consumer information. Content can be tailored to the participants, from operational staff to quality managers.
In addition to courses on general topics, we can run in-house sessions for a single company, focused on its own products and processes.
Regulatory framework
The obligation of food business operators to train staff in food hygiene matters appropriate to their work is set out in Regulation (EC) No 852/2004. Courses for laboratories are based on the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2018.
How we work
Please contact us for information on the topics available, session dates and how to take part. For in-house courses we agree the content, duration and venue with you.
